The Late Show with …
DAVID LETTERMAN!
We had walked by the Ed Sullivan theater on Saturday where the David Letterman show is filmed, and I saw that we could enter to win free tickets. All we had to do was walk in and write our names down on a list. On Sunday night, Chris got a call that he (we) had won tickets! We just had to be there on Monday (8/22) to pick them up, which we did:
It was a bit of a process (waiting) but we were able to get in and see the show at 3:30pm, which aired that night at 11:30pm EST on CBS.
Once we were in the theater, no pictures could be taken. They didn’t even want you to shout “wooooo!” as the microphones are pretty sensitive and it is really annoying to hear “wooooo!” like a bunch of teenage girls watching the latest teen heartthrob movie (not my analogy–the staff’s at CBS). SO, I decided to watch it online and take some screen shots to show you what we saw:

We were way on the tippy-top in the last row of the balcony on folding chairs along with a security guy who roamed around making us a little nervous (there had been a threat against Dave and he was keeping an eye on everyone). Despite that, we had fun!
Wooooooooo!
