After many weeks and weeks of poor health, I am happy to report that I am FINALLY pretty much back to normal. I won’t commit to that yet, but I feel pretty good! 🙂
I just wanted to do a little shout out to my Dad, who was cringing when I told him I was singing Christmas carols while baking chocolate chip cookies. It is only October, for goodness sake! 😉
I will try to blog more going forward. I still need to clean up the posts that are currently up there. Chris was very, very helpful in finding my pictures that had disappeared while transferring to the new blog. They are up there now (THANK YOU, CHRIS). Now I just need to go through and categorize them correctly.
Slowly, but surely (and sporadically) … I’m back! 🙂
We celebrated the holiday by going to our first Mets game! It was pretty fun! There were some people above us that were a little careless about peanut shell bits raining down on us, and another who accidentally sprayed us with water, but it was good overall! 🙂
Not many people were there. We ended up leaving at the top of the 9th when it was tied 2-2. We took our snacks and our promotional gnome home and settled into air conditioning.
The game was won by the Diamondbacks, by the way – after 15 innings. We would have been pooped and sunburned worse than we were if we stayed until the end.
Chris and I made it to TEN years of wedded bliss! Woo Hoo! Here are some pictures from that day. Not ALL, because that would be a bit much. Pictures are of us and other people from our wedding at the courthouse in NYC (black and white pictures are courtesy of our photographer Susan Rubin), and some pictures are from our picnic reception in Fond du Lac, WI. I also threw in 2 engagement pictures and our professional wedding photo (courtesy Ann Brown). I apologize for not being able to post all of the pictures of people who enjoyed our day with us. We truly loved having you all share in our wonderful wedding day and the reception in Fond du Lac!!
Now off to Fond du Lac for the picnic reception after our honeymoon in Boston …
